Our AACCI chairperson Padmabhushan awarded Prof Dr RD Lele has authored a book “ History of Medicine in India” “ This is published by The National Centre for Indian Medical Heritage functioning under the Central Council for Research in Ayurveda Sciences, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India,. The book is the outcome of the efforts by Dr Lele, who undertook the task of studying Ayurveda through the eyes of a 20th Century physician of modern medicine and studied, collated and critically analyzed information from various Ayurveda and other contemporary literature.
Dr. Rajiv Kumar, Vice Chairman, NITI AAYOG has offered his kind consent to release this publication on 11th March 2021 from 03.00 P.M. to 04.00 P.M. through Video Conference in presence of Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India and Prof. Bhushan Patwardhan, National Research Professor – AYUSH & former Vice Chairman, University Grants Commission and other dignitaries.
